8. Attach the battery front panel to the chassis using the attached

screws.

9. Switch the main utility breaker on.

The UPS conducts a self-test and enters Standby mode,

indicated by the blinking

indicator.

10. Press the UPS On

button.

The load segments cycle through a startup sequence and the

UPS enters Normal mode.

NOTE The batterieschargeto 90% capacityinapproximately4 hours.However,it is

recommendedthat thebatterieschargefor 24 hoursafter installation orlongstorage.

11. If you installed an optional EBM, access the System Setup menu

and set the amp/hour rating for each EBM (see “Set Hardware

Configuration” on page 40).
